TAME // THAMUYA THASANANUKULKIJ
In a bull-fighting village in Sukhothai, Kwan, a teenage girl controlled by her uncle all her life, believes she survived at birth because of Mae Sameang, a sacred spirit shrine. When her chance to escape to Bangkok is blocked, Kwan turns to Mae Sameang and begs the spirit to possess her — so she can make the people who caged her “tame,” just like the fighting bulls they have trained for years. But the power that helps her fight back slowly begins to consume what is left of her humanity.
